“Big-Ideas” for need statement “A”
Picking “Big Idea A” – How this will function?
1)Design an Algorithm for Apps to find the data necessary:
- Travel Destinations
- Weather conditions (wind speed and direction)
- Plane Info (stats, like fuel consumption)
2)Determine the calculations for the pilot, for him to review, and then have it submit the flight plan with the appropriate authorities, including the pilot.
3)Review the most current information minutes before the scheduled flight.

I wasn’t expecting to have this continue much further and really took a “board big ideas” avenue with this project, that was fun, but now that we have time to think and will be developing one of these ideas further I am kicking myself for thinking so wildly. Still, after the first idea, which I feel is the only realistic one, I went way outside the box. Really thought the R2-D2 idea was the best one!
